Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. We're on the 2nd of a 2-day charter. We were on the Tuna grounds yesterday. Last night we had several chances and did land 1 nice 170lb Bluefin Tuna last night. And picked up a handful of yellowtail, 1 big bluefin, halibut and more. We picked up 5 yellowtail up to 20 pounds for our morning and put some rockfish and a couple lingcod in the bags. We're heading toward tuna grounds now. Gonna try bluefin tuna fishing this evening. Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. We're on the first of a 2-day charter. The guys wanted to go look around, so we looked around the outer banks here today. No exotics for our travels, but we caught some nice big red rockfish for the guys and a couple of nice big lingcod. We're going to head for a different area looking for warmer water and yellowtail is on the agenda. We'll check-in with you all tomorrow. The weather is shaping up nicely. We managed to catch a couple halibut, with one around 40 lbs, and a handful of yellowtail here so far. Got the rockfish for the guys too, yesterday on the red fish.
