We ended up with 16 nice-sized yellowtail from 25-35 pounds and 22 bluefin tuna up to 50 pounds along with some nice bottom fish to go with it. We were targeting the tuna and yellowtail for the guys. Overall we covered a lot of area and it was really hard to find a bluefin. they didn't really bite that well in the daytime, but at nighttime we had a couple good whacks. We ended up with 6 bluefin, most of them were 100-150 pounds, some yellowtail, some bass, and some rockfish. Ray has the current fish report for you below.

Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. Checking in from our 2-day trip, on the first day we looked far and wide, and saw good signs of tuna. Got them to bite late in the afternoon and into the dark and ended up with 5 bluefin tuna, anywhere from 80 to 150 lbs. And a sample of the yellowtail, we have a handful of the yellows so far. Joe checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. Tried to get through last night and wasn't able so here is our wrap-up for yesterday. Day one of a 2-day trip, 4 bluefin, 5 yellowtail, nice size yellowtail, and 2 white seabass. And then in the off hours, we got some sheepshead, rock cod, whitefish, reds, and things like that. All in all, it was a pretty good day, the weather was not very bad at all. We're on day two so we'll let you know what we end up with here. We're online every night this week except tonight.
