Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. We had a 2-Day charter. The guys wanted poke around in all the little nooks and crannies at the islands looking for exotics. We didn't have big numbers, but we did pick out some fish and caught yellowtail, white seabass, and 17 halibut and double that many on the shorts. We had some action on some nice calico bass, and rockfish kind of filled the bags in the first afternoon. So overall, everybody had something to take home and got some good-eating fish here to take with the guys. Ray has the latest fish report for you below.

Hey guys, Joe on the Tornado. Hey, we had a pretty good trip there last trip. Ray told you all about it. A lot of chances, and unfortunately, we missed them. We think we were hooking those things in bull kelp, and they take you right to the bottom. Anyway, a lot of seabass out there, and they did their typical thing with the seabass. They made their circles, and every time they'd come through, we'd hook one. A lot of shorts out there also, which to me, I like to see that. Shows that we're gonna have some fish there later on.

Hey guys, I dropped our price. We wanna get off the dock. I dropped the price for a one-day overnight to 185, and that starts tomorrow night, Tuesday night. So grab a group of guys, and we wanna go fish. For the seabass, looks like there's some yellows out there at the outer islands, like Clemente, and we wanna fish this stuff. We picked a few halibut, one legal, and the rest were just a little bit short. So overall, pretty fair fishing at the island. Ray has the latest fish report for you below.

Joe checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. Late report from last weekend, but, wow, we had a great trip. We expected to have weather, and we did, and it was beautiful. So, we ended up with flat calm ocean all the way out at the outside of Nick, and lots, lots of nice quality fish. Some of those spots were straight reds, and, of course, you know, you get two each, and you got to get away from there, but big quality reds. Jackpot fish, we decided to go in shallow and take a look, and Ray put us on some sheephead, and the jackpot fish was a nice big fat sheephead. This Friday night we have a two-day trip, fishing Saturday and Sunday, including meals, 450 bucks. I don't think you can beat that anywhere.

For us, anyway, we're chartered the next couple of weekends. Easter Sunday, nobody's going to go fishing. But we have an open party leaving on June the 7th. $250 for one day overnight. Joe checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. What a great day yesterday. On the way out it was a little bumpy, but boy, by 8 or 9 in the morning, it was like a bathtub, and it was just beautiful. San Nic really produced for us. Some of the best quality reds I have ever seen, and it was just nonstop. Our first spot, we took care of our limits of reds and chucklehead. It was just amazing fishing. Then the rest of the day, we spent filling it out with whitefish and other rockfish. We had a great group of people and it was a lot of fun.  Joe has the latest fish report for you below.

We have a couple of trips coming up that I'd like to keep in your mind. One trip is sponsored by Mission Fish. It's a 2-Day trip departing August 3rd, and the price is $695. The reason it is priced that way, is because the night we get in, we're loading it up with wounded warriors at no costs to the wounded warriors that are going fishing. So it is a little extra on that Mission Fish sponsored 2-Day trip, but you'll be helping support a wounded warrior, and we are really looking forward to taking these guys out on the 5th.
