Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. Yeah, we're dealing with a little weather issues, but managing it OK. Picking away at the nicer size rockfish as of right now. This morning, we managed to pick up a couple of yellows there, had a little sample on the yellows. So nice little variety pack. Ray has the current fish report for you below.

Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. We're on our 1.5-Day outer zone freelance surface bottom fishing trip, and we got a decent little mix of fish here. We managed to pick up five yellowtail 15-20 pounds, and found some bonito that we pulled on. The guys also caught some sheephead and whitefish, and now we're starting to put some red rockfish on the boat. Overall, we covered a lot of area, and we're just having a good time. Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. We were out on a charter here today, rock fishing at the Islands and had some excellent fishing, limits all around, plenty of red snapper, handful of lingcod. Ray has the full report for you below.

We have an open party trip that leaves Saturday night and we do have some openings and love to have you come out, the weather's excellent, it was a little bump last night but it came down all day and we're experiencing really nice weather here and expecting to be good weather for the next, for the whole weekend here, probably next week, but we do have people for Saturday night and we'd like to have you come out on the Tornado.

Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. Just thought I'd let you know we're starting to get out for the rockfish season. Got a couple of charters start out the next few days. But we do have some openings on open party trip. That leaves Saturday night, fishing Sunday. A one-day trip leaves at 8 o'clock. And fishing all day on Sunday, returning Sunday evening. Load up, dust off your gear, and get the season started. It's nice eating red fish, rockfish, lingcod, and all that kind of good stuff. So hope you guys can make it Saturday night. Ray checked in for the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing. Just so you know, we got out of our first trip here for 2026. We had a charter of, shall we say, artificial lures, plastics only. It was a charter that the guys set the trip up with. And we fished over at the islands and had some decent fishing. Ended up with a yellowtail, hooked another one, put some bonita, at least half around on the limits of bass. A lot of the guys let the bigger fish go. So that was the thing that they wanted to do. But we just picked away at the bass right along the kelps and mainly fished in the shorter water. But overall, pretty decent fishing. Water was pretty warmer than it should be for late March, probably in the mid-60s. So good, decent conditions. Water was good. And I had a nice outing with the guys, just fishing plastics and stuff like that. And also picked up some sheephead, some whitefish, and stuff like that for the guys. They mainly wanted to fish for the bass and really pick away and fish real tight along the kelps. Anyway, we had a good successful day. We had a good time. Beautiful weather. Of course, a little bit cooler out there. We've got a schedule up here on the Tornado. Check out our website. And we'll have bottom fishing trips as well as surface trips coming up in the future. And some multi-day trips, day and night trips, of course. So we're back online, back in action here, back in the saddle.  Thanks, guys.
